Storyline:

Vincent, in his thirties without children, infiltrates a tribe with mysterious codes and language: the PTA. Finding himself at parent-teacher meetings, school trips, and the end-of-year fair is quite a feat for him.

All parents? Not necessarily since for Bart Canova, it is his babysitter, Vincent, who takes care of the chore. And now, by driving the kid, we think he is the father. It is therefore on this misunderstanding that starts PARENTS D’ELEVES, the new feature film (her 4th) by Noémie Saglio after CONNASSE, PRINCESSE DES COEURS or TELLE MERE, TELLE DILLE, distracting comedies but nothing more.

Of course, this misunderstanding will open the door for the wolf to enter the school fold as much to charm the new school teacher as to charm the many mothers who lead their children daily.

You will understand, the clichés are never far away, even if, it must be admitted, the writers of PARENTS D’ELEVES manage to defuse most of them. The dialogues are often well typed, hit the mark, and even if they sometimes reinforce the feeling of attending a series of skits, the fact remains that we often smile when thinking of situations already experienced in the system school.

“Feel good movie”, PARENTS D’ELEVES is a comedy that works well with a very nice cast that has no shortage of assets. In short, perfect for these rather gloomy back-to-school times!
