User review:

I just watched this movie, nearly 25 years since it was made. I had absolutely no idea about the movie; I was actually on the Net looking for tango music when it came up, so I downloaded it. Once I started watching I just couldn’t stop – and slowly it unravelled its exquisite beauty to me. I’m an avid movie fan and have seen all kinds of movies, including Cinema Paradiso, to which this movie has been compared by the previous reviewer, but I have to say this is one of the most affecting movies I have seen in a long time. It really tugs at your heartstrings, but not in a sickly sentimental way. It feels so true to life that in the end you feel you are part of the movie and you cry, laugh, feel hurt, etc. with the characters. Wonderful experience!
