Storyline:

Lyes, a young boy, is brutally torn away from Emilie, the foster mother who took in him as a baby, and who nevertheless wishes to adopt him. The child thus finds himself confronted with the violence of the homes of the ASE (CPS in USA), which refuses to cut the link with the biological mother, yet unable to take care of him. Agathe, Emilie’s sister, has never abandoned the child. She will fight against the system to try to maintain a link with him, determined to take him home to help him rebuild…

And his connection with the sister of his first adoptive mother.

A testimony and a warning.

One of many french films about social themes, in this case giving the precise image of a weak, sick, dumb, cruel to irrational Social Service, ignoring child interest and preserving a fake perspective about reality.

The great scene – the run on water of teenager and Laura.

In essence, a requisitorium. Useful in profound sense.
