Storyline:

‘WHEN I SEE YOU’. Two individuals. Two men. One location. One secret love. When I see you again was made in the master year at KASK in 2011. It tells the story of a secret love that takes place in an art school. A love between two individuals, both lost in their secret lives.

Still, we like something more sensuality – a style that keeps sticking on our retina. But perhaps Schatteman’s choice is appropriate, because his unprecedented approach pays attention to his two taboo themes. Homosexuality on the white canvas – The kiss of both men is brought to mind – and relationships between pupil and teacher. The psychological impact of these social barriers, we see in the end when the teacher, despised and apparently a nerve crisis, bounces through the corridor.
