Storyline:

At a boarding school in pre-war Austria-Hungary, two students tortured one of their classmates, Bassini, who was caught stealing money from one of them. The pair decided not to hand Basini over to the school authorities, but to punish him personally, torturing, humiliating and humiliating the boy with increasing sadistic delight. Over time, the two boys could justify harsher treatment than before. As a passive member of the group, Torres observes rather than participates, and frustrates torturers by dryly analyzing their behavior.
